The purpose of this Agreement is to prescribe the terms and procedures of use of all services provided by Korea Fintech Week 2022 (hereinafter referred to as "Services"), rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters for users and Our website.

Article 3 (Effect and Change of Terms)

The website will provide you with services on the condition that you agree to these Terms and Conditions, and if you agree to these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall apply preferentially to the website's service provision and use of the Service.

Article 5 (Establishment of a Utilization Agreement)

The contract for use is established when the applicant submits the requirements as specified by the application form provided through the website online and has agreed to the terms specified by the application form and terms and services agreement

Our website may cancel the user registration for the following cases:

When application is submitted using the name of another person;

When an application is submitted by falsely stating the details of the application;

When an application is submitted for the purpose of hindering the general social well-being or norms of society;

When a registered user has committed an act such as obstructing another person's use of the website service or stealing such information;

Where an act prohibited by laws and regulations is carried out using this website;

When the information requirements of the registration application prescribed by this website are insufficient;

Our website may reserve the establishment of service use until the cause is resolved in any of the following cases:

Article 6 (Consent to Use of User Information)

All personal information processed by this website complies with the personal information protection regulations of relevant laws and regulations, such as the Personal Information Protection Act, to protect users' personal information and rights and interests.

Article 19 (Competent Court)

If a lawsuit is filed against a dispute related to the use of this service, the Seoul Western District Court shall be the competent court.

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)

Fintech Center Korea processes personal information to a minimum for the purposes listed in the following subparagraphs. Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

In principle, the Fintech Center Korea processes personal information of the subject providing the information within the specified scope for collection and use, and does not exceed the original scope or provide it to a 3rd party without the prior consent of the subject providing the information.

However, subparagraphs 5 through 9 are limited to public institutions.

1. In the case of obtaining separate consent from the subject providing the information

Where the subject providing the information or his/her legal representative is unable to express his/her intention or cannot obtain prior consent due to incomplete address information or otherwise and is clearly deemed necessary for the immediate benefit of life, body, or property of the subject providing the information or a 3rd party

4. When providing personal information in a form that cannot identify a specific individual as necessary for the purpose of statistical preparation and academic research

5. In cases where personal information is not used for purposes other than the intended purpose or if it is not provided to a third party, it is impossible to perform the duties prescribed by other laws and has undergone deliberation and resolution by the Information Protection Committee

6. When it is necessary to provide information to a foreign government or international organization for the implementation of treaties and other international agreements

Article 4 (Consignment of Personal Information Processing)

Fintech Center Korea entrusts the following personal information processing tasks to outside parties to ensure optimal personal information processing services.

When concluding a consignment contract, in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, matters related to responsibilities such as prohibition of processing of personal information other than for the purpose of performing entrusted tasks, technical and administrative protection measures, restrictions on re-entrustment, management and supervision of trustees, and compensation for damages are included in documents such as contracts. and supervise whether the trustee handles personal information safely.

If the contents of the consignment work or the consignee are changed, this change will be disclosed through the personal information processing policy.

 

Article 5 (Rights and Obligations of Information Subjects and Method of Exercising)

① The subject providing the information (otherwise referring to a legal representative if the subject is under the age of 14) can exercise the following rights related to personal information protection.

- Request to access personal information

- Request for correction if there is an error, etc.

- Request to delete

- Request to stop processing of information

② The exercise of rights pursuant to Paragraph 1 may be done through writing, e-mail, fax, etc. after filling out the form in accordance with Attachment No. 8 of the 「Personal Information Protection Act Enforcement Regulations」 to Fintech Center Korea. Fintech Center Korea will take action without delay after receiving such request and all necessary documents.

③ If the subject providing the information requests changes or deletion of errors within his or her personal information, the personal information will not be used or provided until the correction or deletion is completed.

④ The exercise of rights pursuant to Paragraph 1 may be done through an agent such as a legal representative of the subject providing the information or a person who has been otherwise legally delegated. In this case, onen must submit a power of attorney in accordance with Form 11 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Personal Information Protection Act.

⑤Requests for access to personal information and suspension of processing may be restricted by Article 35 (4) and Article 37 (2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.

⑥A request for changes and/or deletion of personal information cannot be requested if the personal information is specified as the subject of collection in other laws and regulations.

⑦When requesting for perusal, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing according to the right of the subject providing the information, verification measures to verify whether the person who made the request for permission is the person himself or a legitimate agent will be taken.

 

Article 6 (Items of Personal Information to be Processed)

Article 7 (Deleting of Personal Information)

In principle, Fintech Center Korea deletes personal information without delay when the retention period for personal information has elapsed or the purpose of processing has been achieved. Deletion Procedure

The information entered by the user is deleted after being stored for a certain period of time in accordance with the internal policy and other relevant laws after the purpose of user registration withdrawal, etc. is achieved. At this time, the personal information transferred to the database will not be used for any purpose other than the case by law.

Deletion of Personal Information

Personal information whose retention period has elapsed will be destroyed without delay from the end date.

Deletion of Personal Information Files

When the personal information file becomes unnecessary, such as the achievement of the purpose of processing the personal information file, the termination of the provided service, or the closing of the business, the personal information file is destroyed without delay from the date when the processing of the personal information is recognized as unnecessary.

Deletion Method

The personal information will be permanently deleted in a manner so that it cannot be recovered or reproduced electronically.

 

Article 8 (Measures to ensure the safety of personal information)

Fintech Center Korea takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information.

Minimization and training of personnel handling personal information

Employees who handle personal information are designated and managed only by the necessary number of people, and training for safe management is provided for employees handling personal information.

Restricting access to personal information

We are taking necessary measures to control access to personal information by granting, changing, and canceling access rights to the personal information processing system that processes personal information, and using an intrusion prevention system to control unauthorized access from outside.

Retention of access records

The records of access to the personal information processing system are stored and managed for at least 6 months.

Encryption of personal information

Personal information is safely stored and managed through encryption, etc. In addition, we use separate security functions such as encrypting important data for storage and transmission.

Security program installation and periodic inspection and update

In order to prevent leakage and damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses, security programs are installed and periodically updated and inspected.

Access control for unauthorized persons

A separate physical storage location for the personal information processing system that stores personal information is established and operated for access control procedures.
